![]() ![]() ![]() The iMac remains the single best all-in-one computer available. If you're looking for a beautiful all-in-one that will rock anything you throw at it, this is the Mac for you. They're not that bad actually, but they could be better. All the ports I want and need (and then some) are on the back of the unit, and the magic mouse and magic trackpad are both pretty great and responsive.If any complaint could be had, it would be the speakers. Speed is never an issue anymore.As for features, you can't beat it. A bright, evenly lit display on a machine that has a fast 7200 RPM drive, and a quad core processor makes working in Aperture a dream. This computer was a powerhouse of a machine even with the stock 4 GB of RAM, but since I've expanded to 12, it's even better. Yep, essentially, I wanted to have the biggest iMac and smallest notebook they make. I have a 2010 MacBook Air that runs great, but I really also wanted a large display on a computer that had plenty of power and a big hard drive. Having been an Apple fan for a long time, it's always hard to choose the form factors for the computers I want.
